Vaqueros Take Another Two!

Friday was another great double sweep for SBCC Beach Volleyball over both Bakersfield (5-0) and Moorpark (5-0). The team was able to get a few new pairs in the lineup. Alexis (Birdie) Zevenbergen and Celia Espinoza played great at the 5s against Bakersfield,earning their first win together. Celia brings great energy on the court and Birdie stepped up and had great ball control and was able to find her shots offensively. Jordyn Anderson played with Cori Tommeraason at the 3s and did a really great job with her constant communication and aggressive serving.

It was a great overall effort and the team is going to get straight to work in preparation for this coming Friday against a strong Ventura team.
