IRVINE, Calif. – The Vaqueros went 1-1 on Saturday, Feb. 15, with a 3-2 loss to Mt. San Jacinto and a 5-0 win against Irvine Valley College.
Two games against Mt. San Jacinto went to a third set, with the Eagles edging the Vaqueros to escape with the victory.
Santa Barbara rebounded with a convincing sweep of Irvine Valley College in just two sets for all five matches.
The pair of Lina Husek and Naveah Tillett continued their great run on the season with victories in both matches, as did Charlotte Wilson and Madison Genasci.
The Vaqueros return home Friday to host Mira Costa at 10 a.m. on East Beach.
