Jackson started as SBCC's Athletic Program Assistant on April 3, 2023.

SBCC Football
Jackson joined the Vaquero staff as Assistant Linebackers Coach for the 2020 season, which was never played due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He was promoted to Linebackers Coach and Special Teams Coordinator on Feb. 5, 2021.

He played for Santa Barbara City College in 2012 and 2013 as a linebacker and received a scholarship to play for NCAA Division II school Glenville State in West Virginia.

Jackson’s coaching career began in Truckee, Calif. as an assistant linebackers coach in 2015. He coached defensive ends in 2016 and then finished his last two seasons (2017-18) in Truckee as Defensive Coordinator.

Born and raised in Truckee, Weed graduated from SBCC in 2014. He has always considered Santa Barbara to be a second home and is passionate about the Vaquero family.
