Coach Adan is entering his seventh season at SBCC in 2021 and his 10th year overall. Adan currently holds the titles of Recruiting Coordinator, Wide Receivers Coach and Strength and Conditioning Coach.

Adan has coached at the Junior College, NCAA Division 2, and NAIA levels. He has held the titles of Offensive Coordinator, Special Teams Coordinator, Recruiting Coordinator, Wide Receivers and Head of Strength and Conditioning throughout his coaching stops. 

In Adan’s 10 seasons coaching, his positions have earned a total of 28 scholarships to 4-year schools. In addition, he has coached 13 All-Conference, 4 All-Americans and 2 professional players. He has led the top-rated kickoff return unit in California on two different occasions.

Coach Adan played for Clayton Valley High before attending junior college and eventually ended up transferring to Menlo College. There, he earned All-American and All-Conference honors while obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management, graduating magna cum laude. Adan went on to attend Southwestern Oklahoma State where he received his Masters Degree in Sports Management, graduating magna cum laude.

A Bay Area native, Coach Adan was raised in Pittsburg, Calif., and currently resides in Santa Barbara with his wife and two daughters.
