SANTA CLARITA – Competing for the second time in the 2022 season, the SBCC men's golf team took a second place team finish at the WSC Canyons competition at Valencia Country Club with a score of 415.
The Vaqueros were led once again by Gabe Marmon, who shot a 78. That score was good for seventh overall, just one stroke shy of tying for third place.
Caleb Rodriguez was second on the team and ninth overall scoring an 80, followed by Ryan Gay (85) and Valentin Barrull (85). Cameron Whicker (87) and Diego Palladino (87) rounded out the Vaquero lineup.
College of the Canyons took first overall, seeing four golfers finish with a top-three score. Hugo Amsallem's 72 led all golfers.
