SANTA BARBARA – The SBCC men's golf team finished in fourth place out of eight teams at Alisal Ranch Golf Course on Monday, ending with a team score of 403 led by Ryan Gay who shot a 76.
Gay's score was good for ninth overall. Caleb Rodriguez (78) and Caleb Marmon (79) were a few strokes behind, while Cole Mortensen (80) and Cameron Whicker (90) rounded out the Vaquero lineup.
Taking first place overall was College of the Canyons with a score of 373. Ventura (385) finished in second and Glendale (386) was third.
Santa Barbara will be in action each of the next nine Mondays, including its next competition at Victoria Country Club on Feb. 28 at the Riverside Invite.
