RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. – The SBCC men's soccer team held a one-goal lead for the majority of Tuesday's match at Chaffey College. However, a late flurry of goals from the Panthers saw the home side come back late to claim a 3-1 win over the Vaqueros.

Santa Barbara moves to a record of 3-2-2 on the year, while Chaffey improves to 4-2-2.

The Vaqueros opened the scoring in the 17th minute off an unassisted goal from Tanner Stevenson. It was the sophomore forward's second goal in the last four games.

Neither team would capitalize on another scoring opportunity for some time, until Chaffey's Aidan Favero found Azrael Lozada for a 73rd minute equalizer.

Just five minutes later, Wilson Marv scored to give the Panthers their first lead of the day, 2-1. Marv would get into the assist column in the 86th minute to setup Oscar Velez for the final goal of the contest.

SBCC goalkeeper Sunny Dhaliwal finished with five saves, good for his second-most all season. The Vaqueros put up 10 shots as a team on the offensive end of things, forcing Chaffey's Jose Estrada to make six saves.

With their road trip now behind them, the Vaqueros will return home for three straight at La Playa Stadium, beginning with this Friday's 7:00 p.m. match against Canyons.
