SANTA CLARITA – The SBCC track and field teams competed at the WSC Championships at Canyons College on Friday, where the Vaqueros had a strong showing with some ranking in the top-10 in the state in their events.
The Vaquero men had several championship winning performances and finished strong with the fifth-highest team score of 61, while on the women's side, three Vaqueros qualified for SoCal Regionals.
"Yesterday was a great day for Vaquero track!" said head coach Don Willis. "I couldn't be any prouder of our team. Now on to next week and the SoCal Regional Meet at Moorpark."
