MOORPARK – The SBCC men's volleyball team made a late push to extend Friday's match at Moorpark, but suffered its second sweep of the year, 25-20, 25-18, 27-25.
Brigg Busenhart led the Vaqueros with nine kills, followed by Kevin Vonyokes with six kills on a .308 hitting percentage.
Kayode Lovejoy-Hall had a team-high .375 hitting percentage for his four kills. He finished with a match-high six blocks.
Isaac Marshall added four kills of his own. Tobias Murphree (2) and Jack McManus (1) rounded out SBCC's contributors in the kill department.
Setters Carter Cottrell and Toby Still finished with 16 and 10 assists, respectively. Cottrell also had a team-high six digs to go along with a block.
