TORRANCE, Calif. – Santa Barbara City College earned a straight-set victory (25-21, 25-22, 27-25) over El Camino College on Friday, securing its second conference win of the season.
Mykolas Petraitis led the Vaqueros' attack with 14 kills and nine digs, while Rocky Brazier paced the offense with 34 assists and seven digs. Keegan Hubbard added 10 kills in the win.
It was a well-rounded team effort, as Santa Barbara held statistical advantages in kills (44-36), assists (40-32), and aces (5-2).
The win improves the Vaqueros' record to 6-4 overall and 2-0 in Western State Conference play. They return home Wednesday to host Fullerton College.
