Santa Barbara, Ca. Vaquero sophomore runner Sage Holter has been given the prestigeous award of Schoalr_athlete of the Year by the Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table. The annual award given out by SBART recognizes a local athlete from the high school and/or collegiate level who has excelled at both the academic and athletic levels. Recipients must have competed at the varsity or collegiate level in their respective sports as well as have maintained a minimum 3.5 grade point average throughout their academic career.
