Cydney Bolton scored 15 of her 21 points in the fourth quarter on Saturday night, guiding Moorpark to a come-from-behind 62-53 women's basketball win over SBCC at the Sports Pavilion.

Destinee King topped the Vaqueros (14-12, 5-5 WSC North) with 16 points, 11 rebounds and two blocks. It was her 15th double-double in 26 games.  Kesler Johnson had 13 points, eight boards and five blocks. Jocelin Petatan added eight points, seven rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Sydney Perry led the Raiders (13-12, 6-5) with 23 points. The Vaqueros led 27-24 at the half and 42-40 after three quarters but the visitors opened the final period on an 8-0 run to take a 51-44 advantage.

Bolton scored the first six points of the final period and hit 9-12 free throws in the final 4:14.

Moorpark won the fourth quarter 22-11. The Vaqueros pulled within five on a long 3 by Nalei'a Brackett with 51.8 seconds left but couldn't get any closer.

"We played a good first half, then we reverted to turning the ball over and playing uncharacteristically," said coach Sandrine Krul. "We've talked a lot about tactical intelligence and when to apply it when we are fast-breaking or defending and playing our half-court offense.

"When we play with tactical intelligence, we are very, very good. The proof came against Oxnard (a 70-67 win on Wednesday) when we made the rights reads and only had 16 turnovers. We had 34 turnovers tonight and that's too many."

SBCC travels to No. 5-ranked and first-place Ventura on Wednesday, then hosts L.A. Pierce in its regular-season finale on Saturday at 5 p.m.
