Pauling, Moore earn first-team All-WSC honors

Aaliyah Pauling and Meagan Moore have been selected to the first-team All-WSC North women's basketball squad.

Pauling made the first team for the second straight year. The 6-foot sophomore point guard from Spokane, Wash., was No. 4 in WSC North scoring (17.5), No. 6 in rebounding (7.6) and No. 6 in assists (3.4). She led the conference in free-throw shooting, making 81.8%.

Pauling averaged 15.4 points and 6.3 rebounds on the season with a career-high 31 points vs. MiraCosta and a rebounding high of 14 vs. De Anza.

Moore, a 5-7 sophomore guard from Arlington, Texas, was honorable mention all-conference last year. She averaged 10.6 points this season and 8.1 in 10 conference games. She was third in conference FT shooting at 71.4%.

Moore scored a career-high 26 points on Dec. 8 in an 82-63 win over L.A. Harbor.

The Vaqueros went 16-11 this season and finished fourth in the WSC North at 4-6.
