The Vaqueros (4-5) led 37-36 heading into the fourth quarter, but would be held to eight points in the final quarter. The Bulldogs won their sixth straight game to improve to 8-3 on the year.

Fellow sophomore Isabella Jensen Williams had 13 points and 13 rebounds for her third double-double of the year. She also led the team with six steals, five assists and a block.
Santa Barbara held San Mateo to just 1-of-13 on threes, while hitting 6-of-28. Freshman guard Eva Carrejo had a strong shooting night, knocking down 3-of-7 from range for her nine points off the bench.
SBCC (13-18 FT) also outshot San Mateo (8-20 FT) at the charity stripe, but turnovers hurt the Vaqueros as they tied a season-high with 26 giveaways.
