LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Kaylee Bosetti scored a career-high 28 points and knocked down five 3-pointers to help Santa Barbara City College earn a 66-42 win over LA Mission College on Wednesday.

Santa Barbara held a 13-point lead at halftime and used the break to fine-tune its defense, limiting Mission to just seven points in the third quarter and 17 in the entire second half.

Aariah Fox contributed 10 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and three steals, while Isis Poteet added eight points, nine rebounds, two assists, and two blocks.

Celebrating her birthday, Jaden Bone came off the bench to add five points, five assists, and three steals.

The win marked the 20th of the year for the Vaqueros, improving their conference record to 8-2 and further entrenching them in second place in the WSC North Division.

"In the second round of conference play, we will have played five of six games on the road," head coach Sandrine Krul said. "And the Vaqueros know how to win on the road."

Saturday will be the final home game of the regular season for the Vaqueros, with tipoff scheduled for 3 p.m. in the Sports Pavilion against Allan Hancock.

"It's Sophomore Night and our Cancer Awareness Night, so it will be on and poppin' in the Vaquero gym on Saturday versus Hancock," Krul said.
