
SBCC was seeded 14th for the Southern Cal Regional women's soccer playoffs and will host No. 19 Citrus on Thursday in the opening round at 7 p.m.
Coach John Sisterson has guided the Vaqueros to seven straight playoff appearances and 10 in the last 11 years.

The Vaqueros are 12-6-1 and have won three of their last four, capped by a 2-1 win last Friday that gave WSC North co-champion Moorpark its first loss. SBCC finished third in the WSC North (6-3-1) and is 7-1 at home this season.
Josefine Von Der Burg has scored two goals in each of the last two games. She leads the Vaqueros with 16 goals and 35 points.
Citrus (11-8-1) finished third in the WSC East with a 4-3-1 record. Freshman forward Jacqueline Mejia is the Owls' offensive leader with nine goals and 21 points.
Cerritos (19-1), the four-time defending state champion, and Santiago Canyon (19-0-1) are seeded first and second.
Seven WSC teams made the Regional field, which went from 18 to 19 teams this year. Canyons (12-3-4), the WSC East champion, is the No. 3 seed. Other WSC qualifiers are Ventura (6), Moorpark (8), L.A. Pierce (11), SBCC (14), Bakersfield (17) and Citrus (19).
The winner of the SBCC-Citrus game will advance to a first-round matchup at No. 3 Canyons on Saturday.
