Maddison Dodson recorded her third goal in four contests to push the Vaqueros to a 3-2 victory over the Allan Hancock College Bulldogs on Friday, October 25. Julia Ryan opened the scoring with an unassisted goal in the 17th minute. The first half featured a pair of yellow cards, one to Dodson and the other to Bulldogs.

The second half started with a pair of Allan Hanock tallies, in the 59th and 69th minutes. Just 90 seconds later, Carolina Esparza responded by converting on a free kick. Dodson put the Vaqueros on top in the 74th minute to seal the win. Cara Christopherson assisted on the final goal, pushing her point total for October to 17 (7 goals, 3 assists).

Coach Alex Zermeno added, "I'm incredibly proud of the grit the women showed today. We haven't had a come-from-behind win since our first game of the season. A huge shoutout to Julia Ryan and Carolina Esparza for scoring their first collegiate goals!"

The win keeps Santa Barbara undefeated in the conference with a 7-0-0 record and 12-2-2 overall. Anna Kirk recorded four saves. Allan Hancock falls to 1-6-0 against conference opponents and 4-12-0 on the year.
