Addison Seale, with coach Chuckie Roth, was honored as the SBART Athlete of the Week after winning 3 events and swimming on 5 relays in the Pasadena Invitational.

Addison Seale was named Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table female Athlete of the Week on Monday during the weekly press luncheon at Harry's Plaza Café.

The award is given to the top performer of the week for all colleges and high schools in the Santa Barbara area.

Seale, a freshman from La Jolla, won three events, took a second and set two school records, helping SBCC to second place in the prestigious Pasadena Invitational. She won the 100 and 200 breaststroke and the 200 IM, setting a school record in the 200 breast in 2:32.36. She also swam on five relay teams that racked up four seconds and a third.

She was part of the 800 free relay team (Kristina Hill, Seale, Halie Johnson and Alex Humann) that swam 8:08.50 to break the school record by 0.17 of a second.

She scored 77 points in the two-day meet.

The Vaqueros will try to win their second straight conference title when they swim in the WSC Championships on April 21-23 at Cuesta.
