
SBCC won the last four singles, then swept the doubles on Tuesday to secure a 7-2 women's tennis victory at Santa Monica.
It was the third straight win for the Vaqueros (5-1, 3-0 WSC). The Corsairs fell to 0-2.
Anya Nicolaides, Victoria Dafos and Maddie Mitchell swept the Nos. 3, 4 and 5 singles with just one game lost by Nicolaides in her opening set.
Joica Buyse and her sister Jamaica took the No. 1 doubles 8-3 and Nicolaides/Dafos pitched an 8-0 shutout at No. 2.
The Vaqueros will host Canyons on Thursday at 2 p.m. and Chabot on Friday in the North-South Challenge.
