The Vaquero women's volleyball team swept Glendale Community College on Aug. 30 with a score of 3-0.
The first set finished with a score of 25-13, the second set with a score of 25-9, and the third set with a score of 25-17.
The Vaqueros shut down Glendale with 36 kills, 38 digs, and 35 aces.
"This was a fun match because the entire team got to participate. Both setters did a good job of running the offense, getting all their hitters involved," Coach Kat Nitkso said. " Katie McArthur had a particularly standout offensive night with 6 kills, 0 errors on 9 attempts, while Valeria once again led the defense with 12 digs."
Aside from McArthur, Kaylin Cooney led the group with 7 kills.
