Khaya Jackson and Jack Berry

The Vaquero Athletes of the Week are Khaya Jackson from the women’s basketball team and Jack Berry from the men’s basketball team.

Khaya Jackson

Jackson has been a consistent contributor for the Vaqs this season. This week, she scored 36 points in three games, including a 25-point performance against Canyons. In that span, she went 5-for-15 from beyond the arc while grabbing 6 rebounds and collecting 4 steals.

Jack Berry

Berry recorded 44 points over three games at the Monterey Bay Classic, including this one-handed alley-oop slam against Solano on Friday.

He shot 60 percent from the field over those three games, scoring on 18 of 30 field goal attempts, while grabbing 21 rebounds.
