Wolverines spoil Vaqueros’ home opener, 35-13

SBCC took a 13-10 halftime lead in Saturday’s football home opener and then it was all Wolverines in the second half as San Bernardino Valley shut down the Vaquero offense in a 35-13 victory at La Playa Stadium.

Vaqueros rush past Compton in opener, 45-0

SBCC rushed for 197 yards and five touchdowns on Saturday night in a 45-0 season-opening shutout of Compton at Tartar Stadium. It was the second straight shutout for the Vaqueros, who blanked L.A. Valley 14-0 in last year’s finale.
