SBCC managed just two hits for the third straight game on Sunday as Pasadena rallied for an 11-4 softball win at Robinson Park.

Madison McNamee hit her second grand slam in six days in the first inning after Sydney Townes walked, Monica Salas reached on an error and Alyssa Richter walked. It was the third homer of the year for McNamee, who hit .615 (8-13) in five games this week with three homers, two doubles and 13 RBIs. She's batting .500 for the season.

The Vaqueros dropped their third straight and fell to 9-5.

The Lancers (8-6) scored five in the bottom of the first and four more in the second to take a 9-4 lead. PCC enjoyed a 12-2 advantage in hits.

McNamee, a sophomore pitcher/first baseman from Cabrillo High, had both Vaquero hits with her slam to center field in the first and a single in the fifth.

The game was called by rain before SBCC had a chance to bat in the seventh. A second game vs. Southwestern was rained out.

"We couldn't do anything on offense today outside of Madison," said coach Paula Congleton. "It was a tough weekend for us, only getting two hits yesterday and two today. We're going to work hard this week to get back on track."

The Vaqueros will play Game 4 of their nine-game road trip on Thursday at Ventura with the first pitch at 2:30 p.m.
