MOORPARK – The SBCC softball team had its three-game win streak snapped at Moorpark on Tuesday, as the Raiders held the Vaqueros to a single hit in a 6-0 home win.
The Vaqueros' (6-17, 1-1) lone hit came from catcher Linnéa Sandahi. Since returning to the lineup for five of the last six games, the Örebro, Sweden native has a hit in all five appearances, totaling eight over that stretch. She now has a hit in seven of her eight games played this year, owning a team-high slash line of .480/.500/.600.
Moorpark (12-5, 1-0) took the win in its conference-opener. The Raiders scored twice in the first inning, adding one more in the fifth and three in the sixth as they totaled nine hits. Lauren Indermuehle pitched every inning for the Vaqueros.
Right fielder Isabella Huckaby earned SBCC's only walk of the game.
Santa Barbara will be home on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. to host Santa Monica.
