SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Mia Reveles' power and speed were on full display as Santa Barbara City College defeated Cuesta College 4-1 on Thursday, March 20.
In the bottom of the first inning, Katelyn Lisi got caught in a rundown between first and second, allowing Reveles to steal home for the first run of the game.
In the third inning, Reveles hit a three-run home run to right, giving the Vaqueros a 4-0 lead.
Alena Johnson (4-3) earned her third straight win while going 2-for-3 with a double from the leadoff spot.
Johnson has allowed just four earned runs over her last 19 innings pitched, striking out 15 in that span.
Lisi and Maite Juarez also stole bases in the victory.
The Vaqueros play at Moorpark on Tuesday and host Oxnard at Pershing Park on Thursday.
