Alyssa Russell-Sadoff has been selected as SBCC’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year. The freshman water polo player and swimmer from Agoura High received her award during Monday’s press luncheon of the Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table at Harry’s Plaza Café.

Emma Fraser poured in 10 goals on Friday, leading the SBCC women’s water polo team to a pair of victories at the Mt. SAC Classic in Walnut. The Vaqueros beat Orange Coast 13-9 and the host Mt. SAC 16-6.

Thirteen was the magic number for SBCC on Friday as the Vaqueros knocked off Long Beach 13-9 and Orange Coast 13-6 at the Riverside Women's Water Polo Tournament.
