San Joaquin Delta edges Vaqueros 8-7 on last-second shot

Jessica Diaz tossed a perfect lob from seven meters with two seconds left on Saturday morning to lift San Joaquin Delta to an 8-7 win over SBCC in the third-place game of the CCCAA Women’s Water Polo State Championships at West Valley College in Saratoga.

No. 1 Hornets slip past No. 2 Vaqueros 11-9 in Regional final

No. 2 SBCC knocked off No. 3 Riverside 8-6 in a Saturday morning semifinal, then fell to No. 1 Fullerton 11-9 for the third straight time, giving the Hornets the Southern Cal Regional women’s water polo title at Cerritos College.
