Richter sparks sweep of Santa Monica in season finale

Alyssa Richter went 2-3 with a two-run homer and four RBIs in Game 2 on Tuesday, leading SBCC to an 11-0, five-inning softball win for a doubleheader sweep at Santa Monica. The Vaqueros were leading 9-0 in the opener when the Corsairs had to forfeit due to a lack of players in the bottom of the third. The game goes down as a 7-0 forfeit win

Vaqueros rack up 20 runs, then suffer 2-0 shutout

It was a roller-coaster day for SBCC on Friday as the Vaqueros blasted San Diego City 20-2 in five innings, then suffered their first loss of the softball season – a 2-0 decision to Imperial Valley. Both games were played at San Diego City College.

Vaqueros rout L.A. Valley 11-0 in five innings

Isabella Gregson and Rebecca Pullen combined on a one-hitter on Thursday and SBCC routed L.A. Valley 9-1 in a nonconference softball game at Valley Glen. The game ended after five innings due to the 8-run rule.
