
SBCC landed six players on the All-WSC North softball team.
Sloane Greeley and Emily Bland were first-team selections. Greeley, a sophomore outfielder from New York, hit .333 in 14 conference games and only struck out five times in 42 at-bats. She hit .395 in April (17-43). Bland, a freshman first baseman from Irvine, hit .300 in conference play.
Pitcher Isabella Gregson, outfielder Jasmine Manson and shortstop Brandi Almaraz made the second team. Gregson went 6-1 in WSC action with a 2.03 ERA. Manson batted .290 and Almaraz hit .289.
Janet Salas, a freshman catcher/outfielder from Dos Pueblos High, was honorable mention.
The Vaqueros went 15-19 overall and finished fourth in the WSC North at 7-7.
